Anne Celeste Heche is an American actor who was known for her many different kinds of roles in film as well as television and the stage. It is believed that Anne declined the role in the film Laurie Strode in John Carpenter's film Halloween in 1978, which was later recast for Jaime Lee Curtis. John. Carpenter says that he was interested in her playing the character however she decided to turn her back. Anne does not remember being approached with the name of John Carpenter nor being offered the job. Her agent could have rejected the role for her, but not even known. Glen Larson, who had sent her the very first draft script of a part of the TV series Battlestar Galactica from 1978, initially chose her. She initially rejected the role due to the fact that her character wasn't to be strong enough. Glen developed a brand new character, Sheba and it was stronger. She embraced the Living Legend's script after she read the first 25 pages. The show lasted only one season. She also starred with Desi Arnaz Jr. Melanie Griffith Robert Carradine, Desi Arnaz (son Desi Arnaz & Lucille ball) in Joyride in 1977. In addition, she co-starred with Michael Moriarty as The Dark Tower in 1987.
